Wilfred EdwardLAWRENCEAged 88, passed away peacefully on 25th October 2018. Dearly loved Father of Karen, Martine, Stacey and Josephine. Wilf retired from the Police Force in 1984 and was a long-time member of the Chesham Light Opera Company, singing the tenor lead in many shows. Prior to his Police career, Wilf served in the Royal Navy, notably on HMS Concord, the destroyer which escorted HMS Amethyst from the Yangtze River. He was predeceased by Thelma, his wife of 62 years. He will be deeply missed by his daughters, their husbands, Leslie, Tim and David, and grandchildren, Jay, Lucy, Georgia and Claudia. Funeral Service at Hampden Chapel Chilterns Crematorium on Friday 16th November at 2.00pm.
